The New Heating and Cooling Unit Has Arrived
The new heating and cooling unit has arrived and work began on March 11, 2009 in getting it installed. Our property manager, Hank Powell was on site to supervise the entire process and took many pictures, some of which are shared in this news article.
First we had to get rid of the old one. Mechanical services brought in a crane to help them with the job. The old was taken apart and placed into a dump truck. It took several lifts of the old material to get all of it into the dump truck.
Then the new one was raised over the trees and into place in two stages.
Here it is in place. It now needs to be assembled. Because of the rain, this may take at least one week. The new unit is smaller, more powerful, and more efficient and will be ready to go when we need it later in spring.
